Bill Song
Bill, a first generation immigrant, wanted to find a way to give back and serve this great country that had provided so many opportunities for him and his family. His quest led him to attend West Point and, upon graduation, he was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the Military Intelligence Corps. Serving as a platoon leader and head briefing officer at the 501st MI Brigade, he ended his Army career after deploying to Iraq (2004) as an assistant S-2 with the 3rd Armored Calvary Regiment.
Bill earned his MBA and MS in Finance from the University of Maryland and became an investment banker with Wachovia Securities, now Wells Fargo Securities. For the past 9 years, Bill has been part of Well Fargo Securities’ Technology, Media and Telecom group focused on providing M&A advisory and capital raising services (both debt and equity) for middle market and large corporate clients.
If Bill isn’t traveling for work, you can catch him playing tennis or drinking craft beers at one of the many local breweries in Charlotte, North Carolina. He is married and has three beautiful daughters.
