George Woods
George Woods is an experienced senior executive and award-winning entrepreneur. For the past twenty years, he has led multiple organizations to professional and financial success. He has significant experience in all phases of business management including finance, marketing, sales, and operations. This experience includes delivering over seven hundred million dollars’ worth of design and construction services across the globe for various federal government clients. As an Army officer, he served with the 3rd Infantry Division in support of operations in the Balkans and the Middle East. Mr. Woods also served on the National Sustainability Committee for the Design-Build Institute of America, where he authored and taught the course, Design-Build and the Use of Sustainability. He has published numerous articles in various military and construction professional journals. Mr. Woods is a Georgia native, originally from Warner Robins. He and his wife, Kate, have lived in Savannah for the past twenty-three years. They have three daughters, Molly, Clara, and Anna.
