Scotty Galloway
Scotty Galloway is a construction industry consultant focused on advising owners on projects ranging from high-net-worth private homes to large public buildings and infrastructure. He serves as an expert witness for construction litigation cases. In addition to consulting, he is adjunct faculty at the University of Southern California and Drexel University teaching construction estimating and project controls.
Upon graduating from West Point with a degree in civil engineering, he branched engineers and served in Alaska. His assignments included platoon leader, executive officer, and battalion maintenance officer. He served his last two years with the Corps of Engineers traveling to remote projects in Alaska where he cemented his love for construction. After leaving the service, Scotty obtained his MS in Construction from Arizona State University and an MBA from USC. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Nevada and a Certified Construction Manager.
Scotty’s awards and decorations include Regimental Board (x2), 60 days room restriction, 5/2 for sleeping during Al Gore’s speech, Ranger Tab, Parachutist Badge (Airborne), and Air Assault Badge.
Scotty lives in Fullerton, California with his son Mattox (USMA ’34) and daughter Paxson (USMA ’36).
